EVENT SCHEDULE
Olney & Richland County is celebrating its 175th anniversary all throughout the year. The Dodransbicentennial Days, were the crowning celebration weekend.

This parade was full of fun! The parade began at 9:00 a.m., and began at Immanuel United Methodist Church, followed west on Main Street, and then went south on Whittle Avenue until the intersection with North Avenue.

RCCU #1 Building Tours
Remember those memories from your school days? Do you ever wonder how much has changed since you were in school?
The Richland County School District held building tours at the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. Tours were guided, and the buildings were open from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Tours were free to the public, and began every 30 minutes.

Mueum(s) Extended Hours
The Museums were open for extended hours to help residents and visitors learn about Richland County, its history, and take a peek into the past. Admission was free to the public. The museums (listed below) were open from 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on
July 23rd and July 24th.

Richland County Celebration Festival

This festival celebrated past and present day Richland County. The festival began at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 4:00 p.m. There was a lot going on, and despite the heat, everyone had a great time! The Bandshell was also full of entertainers on this day. Click here to see that schedule.

Richland County Welcomes Diamond Rio!

The Dodransbicentennial Commission was excited to announce that Diamond Rio would be gracing the stage at the Richland County Fair Grounds. Gates opened at 6:30 p.m. with a show time of 7:30 p.m. Track tickets were available for those 21 years of age or older, as Miller-Coors products were also available in this area.

Evening Child Care Available!
A local family is adopting a child from China, and they decided to host a child care event as an adoption fundraiser.

Celebration Breakfast Horseshoe
Chilly Willy's served a rare breakfast this day. On the menu: The Celebration Horseshow. This dish featured scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese topped with hash browns, and sausage gravy - ALL atop a piece of buttery Texas Toast!
